Errors/Problems Fixed:

3931651- (JIRA ID: CFT-706) [DI] DLP cross launch not working after upgrading to 6.x
 
Applies to: Data Insight Management Server node.

Install/Uninstall Instructions:

Apply this hotfix to Data Insight Management Server node only.

This hotfix can be applied to Data Insight version 6.1 only.

FILE AFFECTED BY THIS PATCH:

Windows:
INSTALL_ROOT\tomcat\webapps\ROOT

By default, value of INSTALL_ROOT on Windows is "C:\Program Files\DataInsight".

Steps:

Log into Data Insight Management Server node and perform the following steps:
	
	1. Stop all Data Insight services:
    	From the command prompt, issue the following command:
		
	net stop DataInsightCelerra
	net stop DataInsightComm
	net stop DataInsightConfig
	net stop DataInsightFpolicy
	net stop DataInsightFpolicyCMod
	net stop DataInsightPortal
	net stop DataInsightSPOnline
	net stop DataInsightVICClient
	net stop DataInsightVICServer
	net stop DataInsightWatchdog
	net stop DataInsightWeb
	net stop DataInsightWorkflow

	
	2.  Unzip the patch files to a temporary folder. In this folder, locate the
	"patches" folder. This folder contains all files for help application.
	
	Example: If you unzip hotfix to C:\temp, it will create the following folder
	under C:\temp:
	C:\TEMP\
	+---README
	+---patches
		+---ROOT.war
      
	3.  Copy the patch files to the install directory.
	For example, if you are patching Management server installed at 
	"C:\Program Files\DataInsight", copy "ROOT.war" file under 
	"C:\temp\patches" to "C:\Program Files\DataInsight\tomcat\webapps\"
	replacing the original files with those from the patch by deleting the existing ROOT folder.
        
        5. Start only DataInsightweb service : 
        From the command prompt, issue the following command:
        net start DataInsightWeb
        Note : Wait for 5min for the extraction of ROOT.war, Check size of ROOT folder which should be around ~363MB
         
	4. Start Data Insight services:
	From the command prompt, issue the following command:
	
	net start DataInsightCelerra
	net start DataInsightComm
	net start DataInsightConfig
	net start DataInsightFpolicy
	net start DataInsightFpolicyCMod
	net start DataInsightPortal
	net start DataInsightSPOnline
	net start DataInsightVICClient
	net start DataInsightVICServer
	net start DataInsightWatchdog
	net start DataInsightWorkflow
       Note : Do not delete the ROOT.war from \DataInsight\tomcat\webapps
	
Additional Notes:
1. Apply this hotfix to Data Insight 6.1 only.
