Type the following on the command prompt: C:> hastop -all 4. Take backup of the file had.exe from %VCS_HOME%in directory. Copy the extracted file, had.exe to %VCS_HOME%in directory. The variable %VCS_HOME% is the default installation directory for VCS, typically C:Program FilesVERITAScluster server. The earlier version of the file is replaced. 5. Replace this file on each cluster node that has VCS 5.0 RP1a installed, and then start the VERITAS High Availability engine (HAD) on all the cluster nodes. Type the following on the command prompt: C:> hastart -all
