The 64-bit MOMHelper.exe running on a Management Server gave an application error "The application failed to initialize properly (0x0000007b)". When this 64-bit MOMHelper.exe was replaced with its 32-bit version, it generated an event in the event viewer, stating "System.BadImageFormatException: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format." Download and extract the private zip file to a temporary location on your Management Server. Stop the Operations Manager Health service on the Management Server, using the following command: net stop HealthService 3. Copy the extracted file, MOMHelper.exe, to %Programfiles%SymantecMOMUtilsOpsMgr2007 directory. 4. Start the Operations Manager Health service on the Management Server, using the following command: net start HealthService 5. Import Symantec.SFW.HA.mp management pack. 6. Specify RunAs Account for MOMHelper profile, if Management Server Action account does not have access to update MOM server using MOM SDK. - Create a Run As Account for user which has access to update MOM Server using MOM SDK. You can also use the local system account the as Run As Account. - In the Administration pane, expand Security, and click on Run As Profiles. The results pane displays all profiles that exists on the management server. - In the Results pane, Right click MOMHelper profile and select Properties to open the properties dialog. - Click Run As Accounts Tab to select the run as Accounts for MOMHelper profile. - Click New and specify the Run As Account for all Management servers, that manage the VCS Cluster nodes. - Click OK to apply the changes and close the dialog. After the import is successful, the VCS management pack starts monitoring the VCS components. Note that, this Private is a supported fix that has not been fully regression tested. It must thus be applied only to the systems on which the issue is faced. For other situations, we recommend that you wait for the next Service Pack that will contain this fix.
