DESCRIPTION: On Solaris, when VxFEN starts up, it waits for the vxvm-recover service to come online. To check the state of vxvm-recover, VxFEN uses the 'svcs' command. If you have set the operating system locale to Japanese, the output of the 'svcs' command includes Japanese characters. VxFEN is unable to parse the output and therefore fails to start. RESOLUTION: Symantec has modified the VxFEN code to ensure that variable LANG is set to C for the 'svcs' command.
