Etrack Incidents: 2676052 Symptom-Description-Resolution (SDR) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Symptom During the post-installation steps for ApplicationHA, the validity checks for the embedded evaluation license key may fail, and a related error message may appear: "Cannot register evaluation key on system " Description This behavior is observed during installations that occur after December 31, 2011. Resolution Symantec has issued a patch for the CPI installer. After you apply the patch, if you specify the evaluation license key option during ApplicationHA installation, CPI installs a modified evaluation license key. APPLYING THE PATCH ------------------ The patch contains the following file: ApplicationHA60_license_cpi_patch.pm 1. Create a directory on the virtual machine from where you want to run the CPI installer program: # mkdir -p /var/tmp/cpi_patch # chmod 700 /var/tmp/cpi_patch 2. Copy the patch file to the /var/tmp/cpi_patch directory. 3. Navigate to the ApplicationHA install media. 4.
