When the disk group resource is brought offline, Windows Plug and Play generates a large number of volume removal notifications at once. Each of these notifications is handled by a system worker thread, which gets blocked when the system runs out of worker threads. Because of this, system hangs and the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error occurs. RESOLUTION: This issue has been resolved so that now vxio's private system threads are used instead of the systems worker threads. File Name / Version: vxio.sys / 5.1.20087.88 INSTALLING THE PATCH -------------------- This package contains self-extracting files that are specific to the processor architecture and operating system version.
