CORBA initialization fails on HP-UX 11.11 hosts with more than 50 network interfaces.

- INSTRUCTION HOW TO APPLY THE FIXED BINARY FILE:

  1. Download the file "PSP_HF1_HPUX.tar.gz" under /var/tmp. gunzip
  and untar it in this directory. A directory called PSP_HF1 will be created under
  /var/tmp.

    # cd /var/tmp
    # gunzip PSP_HF1_HPUX.tar.gz
    # tar xvf PSP_HF1_HPUX.tar

  2. stop CCS HAL processes 

    # cd /opt/VRTS/bin
    # ./vxccs stop halexp
    # ./vxccs stop hallhm

    Verify that the processes got stopped using

    # ./halagentcfg list-processes -e

  3. make a backup of the current binary file and replace it with the downloaded 
  fixed binary file

    # cd /opt/VRTSccs/VRTShal/lib
    # mv libvxACE.sl.3 libvxACE.sl.3.orig
    # cp /var/tmp/PSP_HF1/libvxACE.sl.3 libvxACE.sl.3
    # chmod 555 libvxACE.sl.3

  4. Restart the CCS HAL processes

    # cd /opt/VRTS/bin
    # ./vxccs start hallhm

    Verify that the HAL processes got started and are in the RUNNING and Normal state
    using

    # ./halagentcfg list-processes -e

  5. Attach the Managed Host to the HAL domain. Specify Management server fully
  qualified hostname in the <ManagementServerHost> argument below.

    # cd /opt/VRTSccs/VRTShal/bin
    # ./haldomain attach --domainroot <ManagementServerHost>
