This TechFile provides information about the Array Support Library (ASL) for 3PAR InServ Storage Servers on Veritas Volume Manager 4.0 MP1 and later for Linux (RHEL and SLES).

# vxdctl mode

To install the package VRTS3par-1.2-1.3.i686.rpm

Loading The Library
After the package is installed, you must run the vxdctl enable command to claim the disk array as a 3PAR array:
# vxdctl enable
After running vxdctl enable, you should see libvx3par.so in the output of the vxddladm listsupport command:
# vxddladm listsupport libname=libvx3par.so
