for HUAWEI OceanStor / HUASY Oceanspace Series Arrays on VERITAS Volume 
Manager 5.0, 5.0MP1 and 5.0MP2 for HP_UX 11.23.

Installation Instructions:
--------------------------
1. Create a directory to store ASL package
# mkdir /tmp/asl
# cd /tmp/asl

2. Download the ASL package to /tmp/asl

3. After downloading VRTSHUAWEI_HPUX11.23_vm5.0_asl_v1.1.tar.gz, verify checksum
# cksum VRTSHUAWEI_HPUX11.23_vm5.0_asl_v1.1.tar.gz
549216612       73774   VRTSHUAWEI_HPUX11.23_vm5.0_asl_v1.1.tar.gz

4. Unzip the file and extract the rpm package
# gunzip VRTSHUAWEI_HPUX11.23_vm5.0_asl_v1.1.tar.gz
# tar -xvf VRTSHUAWEI_HPUX11.23_vm5.0_asl_v1.1.tar

5. Before adding any ASL package, ensure Veritas Volume Manager 
is installed and enabled

# vxdctl mode
mode: enabled

6. ASL Installation:
   -----------------
# swinstall -s `pwd` VRTSHUAWEI 

7. After the package is installed, you must execute the `vxdctl enable` 
command to claim the disk array.

# vxdctl enable

Note: In some cases, it has been reported that the installation of 
the ASL does not take effect and `vxdctl enable` does not claim the
the enclosure and devices. In such cases, you can execute the
`vxconfigd -k` command in addition to `vxdctl enable`

8. After executing `vxdctl enable`, verify the output of the 
`vxddladm listsupport` command

9. Check ASL version
