Veritas Volume Replicator (VVR) is unable to determine which RLINK should be used to execute the specified command. The message indicates that there are multiple RLINKS associated with the replicated volume group (RVG). This message may appear while changing the role of RVG using any of the following commands:
- An RLINK was not specified properly. The RLINK name is required if multiple RLINKs are associated with the RVG and a command to change an RVG role is executed. - A "Takeover with Fast-Failback" operation may fail with this message if VVR is unable to find an attached RLINK.
Solution
Before performing a "Takeover with Fast-Failback" operation, verify that the required RLINK is attached. If there are multiple RLINKs attached to the RVG when performing a makesecondary operation, provide the RLINK name that represents the new Primary.
