Description

This error occurs if the local computer is missing information about one of the other replicated volume groups (RVGs) in the replicated data set (RDS).

Possible causes

• The RDS has been configured improperly. This is preventing the RVGs from communicating with each other.  As a result, operations that require the entire RDS will fail.
• A temporary network communication issue occurred.  In some cases, running the command at a later time will complete successfully.
• A disk group that belongs to the primary or secondary RVGs is deported.  Verify that the disk group is imported on all sites.

To provide our customers with as many troubleshooting resources as possible, Symantec Enterprise Technical Support is currently working to research and provide information for all possible status codes and errors that may appear while using Veritas Storage Foundation for Windows. An explanation, work-around, or solution for each status code will be added once this information has been developed. This is an on-going process.
