Message:
More than one snapshot volumes are associated with a data volume and -a option is not specified.
Description:

This message is displayed when all the following conditions occur: 
 

  • You snapback all volumes in a replicated volume group (RVG).
     
  • There are multiple snapshots associated with one or more volumes in the RVG.
     
  • You do not specify the -a option on command line, or do not select the Snapback All Snapshots option on the graphical user interface (GUI).
     

In this case, Volume Replicator (VVR) cannot decide which snapshot plex to snapback and gives this error.

If you intend to snapback all snapshot plexes of a volume, specify the -a option on the command line, or select the Snapback All Snapshots option in GUI. If you do not intend to snapback all snapshot plexes, specify the prefix so that only the volume whose name begins with the prefix is reattached.
