Description: After a race for coordination points, the racer node of the subcluster that wins issues an ioctl to Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) to fence off data disks from the nodes of the subcluster that loses the race. If this ioctl fails, for example if VxVM returns EBADF, this message is displayed.

Recommended Action: Check whether VxVM is running properly. See Veritas Volume Manager Administrator's Guide for more information.
