LLT: Timer not called for %s ticks.
Description:

LLT registers a timer with the operating system. LLT displays this error message if the operating system exceeds the default interval of 50 milliseconds to schedule the LLT timers. The message displays the scheduling delay in the unit of ticks.
 

The reasons for this error include:
 

  • The operating system is heavily loaded.
     
  • A program is using a large amount of CPU.
     
  • A bug in Solaris 8 (SUN Bug 6371091), which is described in detail here.

Make sure that:
 

  • The operating system is not heavily loaded.
     
  • A program is not using an excessive amount of the CPU.
     
  • You correct any problems related to SUN Bug 6371091. See Symantec TechNote64937 for details.
