Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) does not support cross links scenarios in pre-5.0 MP3 releases.

This solution applies to pre-5.0MP3 releases and other releases that support cross link scenarios.
 

If you find that it is a cross link scenario, which indicates that you use only one network switch between the cluster nodes. Veritas recommends configuring two independent networks between the cluster nodes with one network switch for each network for failure protection. If you plan to use only network switches, use separate service access points (SAPs) for each LLT link.
