If you want to reset the node ID, you must use the override flag in the lltconfig command. Enter:

# lltconfig -c -o

The -o option overrides the existing node ID and sets the node ID specified in the /etc/llthosts file. The set-node directive in the /etc/llttab file references the /etc/llthosts file to get the node ID.
