Description:

This message appears if a resource fails to go online before the time limit specified by the OnlineWaitLimit attribute expires. 

When VCS brings a resource online, the agent framework initiates the online procedure and then schedules the monitor procedure. If the resource is not reported online before the monitor procedure completes, the agent framework assumes a resource fault and initiates the clean procedure.

Content:
  1. Check the application-specific logs and try to determine the reason for the resource  not going online.
     
  2. Verify that the resource is configured properly and that proper values are specified for all mandatory attributes.
     
  3. Increase the value of OnlineWaitLimit to give sufficient time for the resource to report online. When OnlineWaitLimit is set to the default value of 2, the monitor procedure is performed twice.
