Description:

This message is displayed by one of the following entities:
 

  • Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) high availability daemon (HAD)
     
  • Wide area connector (WAC)
     
  • Steward process
     
  • CmdServer 
     

The message is displayed when the entity cannot bind a socket to the specified server address. The error number (errno) indicates the error received when the bind() function is called.
