Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) accepts only valid values for different data types and attributes. The following ranges are permitted for the respective data types and attributes.
 

  • For Integer data type, the permissible range is 0 to 2147483647, and the valid values for Boolean data type are 0 and 1. 
     
  • The valid level values for group attribute DisableFaultMessages are 0 to 3 and those for site level attribute Preference are 1 to 4.
