Message:
Agent is calling clean for resource(InformixAgent) because the resource is not up even after online completed.
Description:

The Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) engine might bring a resource online because of a service group failover or because the hares -online command was executed. To bring the resource online, the engine requests the resource's agent to perform the online operation and  expects the agent to report the resource as online.


The agent executes the  online agent function as part of the online operation. After it completes this function, if it finds that the resource is offline, it calls the clean agent  function to bring the resource to a  clean offline state. Before the agent executes the clean agent  function, it logs this message.

Content:
  • If the online agent  function times out, increase the value of the OnlineTimeout attribute. If the system is heavily loaded, increase the value of the OnlineClass attribute or the OnlinePriority attribute.
     
  • If the online agent  function does not time out, enable logs for the agent by setting the LogDbg attribute. Examine the agent log to determine the reason for failure of online agent function. Take appropriate corrective action.
