Notifier:Mail server specified does not support SMTP VRFY command. Email user cannot be verified
Description:

Before a notification mail is sent, SMTP recipients are verified using the VRFY command. If the command fails or returns error code 502, this warning message displays to indicate that email user verification failed.
 

This warning does not cause the notifier to stop. Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) still tries to send notifications to users.

Notifications are configured using a resource of type NotifierMngr. The resource contains details about the SMTP server, notification recipients, and the threshold severity level of notification. Refer to the Veritas Cluster Server Administrator's Guide for information on setting up VCS event notification.
