Description:

Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) ensures that multi-cluster service group (also known as global service group) operations are conducted serially to avoid timing problems and to ensure smooth performance. The Authority attribute prevents a service group from coming online in multiple clusters at the same time. Before initiating an online operation, the target cluster requests authority from the cluster having the authority for the global service group.
This log message indicates the request of authority for the global service group. Requesting authority is part of the hares –online or hagrp –online operation, and you don’t need to run separate commands for it.
