Description:

When the VCS process does not heartbeat with GAB for more than the
specified timeout (15/30 seconds), GAB sends a SIGABRT signal to the VCS
process. As part of the Abort handler, VCS writes this message to the console.

The VCS process typically cannot heartbeat with GAB under extreme I/O
conditions or when there is a high CPU load on the system. This is typically
preceded by monitor cycles for agents timing out or not heartbeating with VCS.
Check the engine log for  details. The log may also list the CPU and swap
utilization and would typically be above 90% for either of the two. If any of
these symptoms occur, try increasing the system capacity so that VCS can
heartbeat with GAB in a timely manner to ensure high availability of your
applications.
