When a user specifies an incorrect username or password to log in to a Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) cluster from the Veritas Cluster Manager Java Console, this message is displayed.

To solve the issue, do the following:

 

  1. Check if you provided the correct username or password.
     
  2. If the problem persists, check whether the user exists with the hauser -display command.
     
  3. If the user does not exist, create the user.

 

Note: You need the root privileges of this node to perform step 2 and 3. You can contact the system administrator for the root privileges.
