Description:

This message is displayed when the system attribute GUIIPAddr is set to 127.0.0.1. GUIIPAddr determines the IP address that Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) uses to accept connection. If it is set to 127.0.0.1, VCS java console (hagui) access is limited to the local host. And the VCS engine blocks connection from any other IP.

This solution applies to VCS 5.0 and later releases.

 

To solve the problem, unset GUIIPAddr to allow VCS to accept connection over all configured local IP addresses. Enter:

 

# hasys -modify system_name GUIIPAddr ""
