This message indicates that import of the disk group succeeded after using the force (-f) flag with the vxdg import command. The product attempts to import the disk group with the clear host ID (-C) flag first. If the import operation fails, the product attempts the import operation with the force option.

Typically, a disk group cannot be imported if some disks in the disk group cannot be found by the local host. You can use the -f flag to force an import if, for example, one of the disks is currently unusable or inaccessible.


Note: If import is successful with the -f flag, you must ensure that the same disk group is not imported twice from disjointed sets of disks. This can make the disk group inconsistent.
