Set and try to bring the service group online again.
 

This issue is corrected by a hot fix and is also part of a cumulative patch in release 5.1 SP2. To correct the issue, you have the following options:
 

  • Contact Veritas Technical Support and obtain the hot fix.  Refer to this error code when you contact support. A support representative will assist in troubleshooting this issue. If it is determined that the private fix addresses the problem, the support representative will further assist in obtaining the private fix.

    Note: This fix specifically addresses the aforementioned problem. It has not been fully tested and should be applied in a test environment before placing into production. If the systems are not critically impaired, it is recommended to delay the installation of this private fix until the next scheduled maintenance release. Before you apply this private fix, you may need to upgrade your systems to the latest code base. The support representative will help determine the best course of action.
     
  • Upgrade your system to 5.1 SP2.
