Description:

The smsyncd daemon copies the Network File System (NFS) locks from the local NFS lock directory to shared storage. The NFSRestart resource only starts the daemon if you configure the NFSRestart agent for lock recovery. The daemon is stopped during an offline entry point or clean entry point operation.
 

This message is displayed when the NFSRestart agent determines that the smsyncd daemon is not running during an offline entry point or clean entry point operation. This situation may happen if someone kills the daemon before the offline entry point or clean entry point is executed
