Description:

The VCS Java interface uses IP to communicate with VCS. This message is displayed because of one of the following two reasons:
 

  • IP is not reachable for some reason.
     
  • VCS is down on the node.

To resolve the issue:
 

  • Check if VCS is running on the node and the cluster IP is accessible.
     
  • Check that there is no IPv6 entry for the host name in /etc/hosts. If there is, remove the IPv6 entries in /etc/hosts and retry.
