Description:

This message is displayed when you run the Exchange Server Configuration Wizard to configure Exchange 2003 Veritas Cluster Server Service Groups and the Exchange resource type is not installed.

Content:
  1. Open the Cluster Manager (Java Console).
     
  2. Select File, Import Types.


     
  3. Select Yes to switch to Read/Write mode (if the Configuration is not already open).
     
  4. Navigate to %vcs_home%\conf\Sample_Exchange2003. The default %vcs_home% directory is C:\Program Files\Veritas\Cluster Server.
     
  5. Import the Exch2003Types.cf file.
     
  6. Save and close the configuration.


     
  7. Verify that the types files have been successfully imported. Click the Types tab.


     
  8. Scroll down the list to locate the following files:
  • ExchProtocol
     
  • ExchService
