The error V-16-13-7019: MSMQ is not configured properly (figure 1) occurs due to Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) feature on Windows Server 2008 has not been installed.

To correct this issue, the Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ) feature must be installed before configuring Symantec Enterprise Vault 8.0 on Microsoft Windows 2008 highly available.


To install MSMQ feature on Windows Server 2008

1. Start Server Manager.
2. Click Features in the left pane.
3. Click Add Features in the right pane.
4. When the Add Features wizard starts, click MessageQueuing, and then click Next.
   Note: The only MSMQ feature that Enterprise Vault requires is Message Queuing Server.
5. Click Install.
6. Follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.
7. Start the Enterprise Vault Cluster Setup Wizard again and the error should no longer appear.
