Description:

This message is displayed when:
 

  • You are logged in to the server directly, instead of in to a domain.
     
  • There is a problem communicating with the domain.
     
  • The account the Veritas Cluster Server Helper (hadhelper) service uses does not have adequate permissions.


Note: The hadhelper account cannot be a local system account.

To correct the error, do one of the following:

 

  • If you are logged in to the server directly, log in to the domain and restart the wizard.
     
  • Verify that you can reach the domain by running the Microsoft utility Dcdiag.exe.
     
  • Run hadhelper/configure on all nodes to grant permissions to the hadhelper service.
