Description:

The agent periodically sends a heartbeat message to the engine to indicate normal status. If the engine does not receive a heartbeat message from the agent as expected, the engine starts a new instance of the agent and aborts the original agent instance (using sigabort).

The new agent instance starts up and checks for an existing agent process. Because it takes some time for the original agent instance to stop running, in some cases, the new agent instance might find the original agent instance. When this happens, the new agent instance exits and logs the above message.

In most cases, the agent is running but can’t send a heartbeat message to the engine due to high CPU usage on the system. Check whether CPU usage was high.
