Perform one or more of the following steps:

  • Increase the value of the MonitorTimeout attribute, so that the Monitor entry point has enough time to complete successfully.
     
  • Increase the value of the FaultOnMonitorTimeout attribute for that resource type, so that VCS takes action only after the specified number of consecutive Monitor entry points is reached.

Also investigate the reason why the Monitor entry point is timing out by inspecting the system load, CPU, and memory statistics. Check the resource that VCS is monitoring to see if it is responding as expected.
