Cluster Synchronization Service process is not running.
Description:

This message is displayed when the monitor function (the entry point) is executed for the ASMInst agent. The agent does not find the Cluster Synchronization Service daemon process (ocssd) running in the process table. The agent returns offline for the following conditions:
 

  • The process is not running.
     
  • The process is restarted.

Make sure that the ocssd process is running. The ASMInst agent only monitors the ocssd process, but does not start or stop the process.
