The agent calls the Clean entry point if the monitor program times out consecutively for a number of times specified by the FaultOnMonitorTimeOut attribute.

If you encounter this issue, take the following actions:

  • Inspect the load on the system to investigate the cause of the monitor timeout and the subsequent Clean entry point call.
  • Consider increasing the value of the MonitorTimeOut attribute so that the Monitor entry point has adequate time to complete successfully.
