Error Code details
V-16-3-18313
Severity: Error
Component: Cluster Server
Message:
TCP/IP connection via connector from cluster %s to cluster %s is hung; intentionally disconnecting. Auto-reconnect will occur however you may wish to examine the wac resource on system %s
Description:

This message is displayed when a wide area connector (WAC) sends a heartbeat message to the remote WAC, but it does not receive a response from the remote WAC within the timeout interval. (The SocketTimeout parameter defines this interval.)

This error may indicate a network outage or that the remote WAC is hung. The state of the remote cluster provides more information. If the state is LOST_HB, it assumes a network outage. If the state is RUNNING, it assumes that remote WAC is hung, logs this message, closes the connection with the remote WAC, and tries to reopen the connection.

If the connection is reestablished, no action is required. If the connection is not reestablished, the clusters move to the LOST_CONN state. In this case, do the following:

  1. Check the WAC process on the remote cluster.

  2. Check if the port 14155 has been blocked on the local or the remote system.
