Description

Storage Foundation is unable write to the registry key that was specified. This may occur if the key does not exist, is inaccessible or if the system is low on resources.

Solution

  • Use Regedit to review the registry key that was specified. Verify that the key exists and that the permissions for the registry key do not prevent access to the key.
  • Use the Microsoft Windows Task Manager, the Performance Monitor (perfmon.exe), or a similar utility to review the available system resources.
