This message may occur during fsadm or fsvoladm reorganization. The reasons include the following:
 

  • Insufficient memory
     
  • The presence of extents that are larger than 2 GB

Re-run fsadm or fsvoladm with the –v (verbose) option so that it reports reorganization activity and provides more error information.
