When you create a local zone, you should not copy the vxportal driver to the local zone. If the /kernel/drv/sparcv9/vxportal path is present in the local zone, the vxfsldlic service does not come online and prompts this error.

Perform the following two steps:

  1. Remove the instance of /kernel/drv/sparcv9/vxportal driver from the local zone.
  2. First disable, and then enable the vxfsldlic service.
