Error importing sensitive file paths from Data Loss Prevention server.

This error message is displayed when DlpSensitiveFilesJob fails on the Data Insight Management Server. DlpSensitiveFilesJob is a scheduled job that retrieves policies and sensitive file information from Data Loss Prevention (DLP) server. The error may be caused due to the following reasons:

  • Incorrect credentials are used to access the DLP server. 
  • Incorrect DLP Saved Report ID is configured in Data Insight.

From the Data Insight Management Console, navigate to  Settings > Data Loss Prevention settings and verify the following:

  • Correct DLP server credentials are provided. 

  • Correct DLP Saved Report IDs are provided.

Additionally perform the following checks:

  • Ensure that the Saved Reports configured in Data Insight contains DLP incidents of type Network Discover.
  • Ensure that the DLP server credentials configured in Data Insight have not been changed in DLP after you have configured them in the Data Insight Management Console.
  • Ensure that a DLP Saved Report that is configured in Data Insight is not deleted from DLP after you have configured it in the Data Insight Management Console.
  • When configuring DLP settings if you specify multiple Saved Report IDs, ensure that you separate the IDs with commas.

You can find the cli0.0.log in the Data Insight installation directory, INSTALLDIR\log. Typically, the installation directory is located at C:\Program Files\Symantec\Data Insight.
