Description:

This error message is displayed if the host family fails to report its first data to Management Server after being added to Management Server domain. There may be several reasons for failure of host verification such as inclusion of special characters or unsupported locale in the data that is reported to Management Server.

You can look into following log files to figure out the exact reason of host verification failure:
 

  • On Linux Management Server:
    • /var/opt/VRTSsfmcs/logs/dbsync.log
       
    • /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/logs/xdbadm.log
       
  • On Windows Management Server:
    • C:\ProgramData\Symantec\VRTSsfmcs\logs\dbsync.log
       
    • C:\ProgramData\Symantec\VRTSsfmh\logs\xdbadm.log
       
  • On UNIX/Linux managed host:
    • /var/opt/VRTSsfmh/HOST/log/mh.log
       
  • On Windows managed host:
    • C:\ProgramData\Symantec\VRTSsfmh\HOST\log\mh.log
