Description:

The Veritas Operations Manager Storage Insight Add-on script fails to communicate with the array from the discovery host. This communication failure occurs if you have used incorrect array credentials, IP address, or the communication port.

  • For the array credentials: Ensure that you have provided the correct credentials for the array. Validate the user name and the password.
     
  • For the IP address: Ensure that the discovery host can connect to the provided IP address.
     
  • For the port: Check if the discovery host can connect to the IP address using the provided port. Check firewall settings.
