Description:

This message appears in the following cases:
 

  • The user does not have admin rights and is trying to perform an operation on the host.
     
  • The managed host is no longer part of the Storage Foundation Management (SFM) domain on which the operation is executed.

Depending on the cause of the error, use one of the following solutions to resolve this issue:
 

  •  Grant admin rights to the user who is trying to perform an operation on the host.
     
  • On the Managed Host, run the following command:

    /opt/VRTSsfmh/bin/xprtlc -l https://localhost/world/getvitals

    If the central server name appears in the output of this command in the domain section, contact Veritas Technical Support.
