This message displays if the user is not mapped to a role in the usermanagement.xml file. The path to the file is:

/opt/VRTSsmweb/webgui/sm/config/userManagement.xml
 

Note: This message does not apply to Veritas Operations Manager (VOM) 3.1 or later because these versions do not have a VRTSsmweb package.

Do one of the following:
 

  • On the VOM server, in the /etc/group file, add the user in the root group.
     
  • Create a new group in /etc/group and add the Security Group in VOM.
