Possible causes

This error generally occurs when the Cluster Software is not available and vxio driver does not receive the monitoring requests for a long time. It will release the reservation thread in such case

Solution

User should check if the Cluster Software Microsoft or Veritas Cluster Server (MSCS or VCS) is running. Re-online the VMDG resource on the node

Description

This message generally appears when the vxio driver has not received any monitoring requests from the cluster software for a long time. As a result, vxio will now release the SCSI reservation thread from the disks in the cluster disk group.


Solution

- Verify that the cluster software is running.
- Online the VMDg (Volume Manager Disk Group) resource on the node if it is not already online elsewhere.
