 Do one of the following:

 

  • Initialize the disk from the command line. Enter:

    /etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -if disk_access_name format=sliced
     
  • If you are adding a disk to a disk group, enter:

    vxdg -g disk_group_name adddisk disk_access_name cds=off


Note: This error is no longer applicable in the latest version of the software. Veritas recommends that you update the product to the latest version.
