< Symptom >
Following messages appears in errpt system log.

NOTE VxVM vxio V-5-0-1 :Backup Pool swapped for B-SioPool12
NOTE VxVM vxio V-5-0-1: ldata pool B-SioPool1 grown successfullyGrowby=3125,grow=9, Maxgrow=64

Customer is using SF5.0MP3RP3 on AIX 5.3.

< What do they mean and why does it occur ? >
-What the messages means exactly?

These messages logged from ldata allocator which serves memory allocation requests from preallocated memory pool- sio ,buffer pool ,backup pool.
Back pool initialized to minimum size(1 element) but as and when amount more amount of memory required ,it can be grown by grow daemon.
At the same time I/O load goes down ,memory will be returned back to OS.This will be handled by delete daemon.

Whenever delete daemon returns memory to OS , existing backup pool will be deleted and (swapped) initialized to minimum size(element 1).

This is a grow request to a back up pool which is allocated for SIO allocations.
