If the root disk has been encapsulated by VxVM and this message displays, the kernel parameter dmp_real_sysbootdev should be set to correctly to identify the boot device within the boot load configuration file. The boot device needs to be identified to perform certain SCSI operations during startup when the root file system has been encapsulated.

Note that the dmp_real_sysbootdev parameter should be set automatically when performing VxVM root disk encapsulation.
