Unexpected inconsistency in configuration Disk Access and Disk Media records don't match
Description:

This message is displayed when there is an inconsistency in the incore configuration database. The inconsistency takes place when a disk media record has multiple disk access names or a disk media record points to an incorrect/stale disk access name.
 

Run vxprint -g dgname -m
 

If the da_name, last_da_name fields of the disk media record differ, inconsistency occurs.

Do one of the following:
 

  • Reset and refresh the incore database.

    vxconfigd -k
     
  • If the disk in question does not have any objects, remove the disk, then add it back.

    vxdg -g dgname rmdisk disk_name

    vxdg -g dgname adddisk dmname=daname
